FAQ
Is the workshop suitable for both iPhone and Android users?
Yes, both iphone and android phones can be used, you don't need the latest model. As long as your phone camera works it will be sufficient for this workshop.
Is the workshop suitable for beginners, do I need to bring anything other than the phone?
This is a beginners workshop that focuses on the hidden camera settings, composition, exposure, and framing as it relates to photography only. If you have a tripod and headphones please bring them with you, however these are not mandatory. We will be learning different methods of trigger release and stabilizing the camera. Chargers can be useful if your battery drains quickly.
We will have props, if you wish to bring your own product you are welcome to do so, as long as it's portable in size (no larger than a carry on suitcase).
Will it be hands on or mostly instructional?
We will be covering the camera settings and theory in the first part of the workshop, followed by practice. Four stations will be available with specific setup to ensure covered material is understood and can be put into action.
Is there parking/accessibility?
There is parking along King Street, however with the mall construction we suggest the city lot between 4th and 5th Street. Main entrance to Artisan Vibes is located at 101 King St. West accessible from the sidewalk.
What is the cancellation policy?
Due to the nature of the workshop the fee is non refundable. If you can't attend please give a 48 hour notice and we will extend a transfer of fee towards another workshop or service.
About your photographer
Hello, I’m Karolina, photographer, amateur prop wrangler, and avid thrift‑store addict in Chatham. I shoot commercial, editorial, and lifestyle work, love dramatic lighting, and think textures should have a voice. I’ll fuss over a frame longer than is socially acceptable, but I’ll get you an image that feels effortless. Let’s create something memorable.
